Press ReleaseQuébec’s Strategy on Protected Areas: THE ALBANEL-TÉMISCAMIE-OTISH PARK PROJECT: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF? Québec, January, 12, 2006 – The Government of Québec has confirmed its intention of creating the Albanel-Témiscamie-Otish, the first park that is representative of the boreal forest. Mr. Thomas J. Mulcair, Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks invites organizations and the population to public consultation meetings dealing with the Provisory Master Plan of this park project in order to obtain their comments and suggestions. At the Minister’s request, these hearings will be held by Mr. Qussaï Samak, Member of the Bureau d’audiences publiques sur l’environnement.
